If you’ve been keeping up with Expensive Taste Test, you’d know that Iggy Azalea earned her title as the ~queen of fancy~ with a perfect score. Now, before you start roasting your fave celebs for not knowing their luxe products, understand that it’s pretty damn hard to taste the difference between bottled and tap water! We do have to give a special shout-out to musician Nina Nesbitt though—she’s giving Iggy Iggs a run for her money. I mean, the woman SPEAKS bougie (and crystal vibrations, but you’d have to see the video to understand 😉).
Round one started off easy—Nina was tasked with testing chocolate cupcakes, aka her favorite dessert. (We’re too nice. We know). Apparently, Nina’s more of a confection connoisseur than we thought, because she fully called out one of the cupcakes for tasting like “chemicals.” How? IDRK—but she got that round right!
Nina also loves gin and tonics *sans ice* (my hero), so we served her two glasses to see if, you know, she actually loves them. Welp, since Nina lives near a distillery and casually goes on gin tastings, you can assume how she did. 😂
We *might’ve* thrown in a fanny pack round because...well, we’re slightly evil! Laughing nervously, Nina explained that “in Scotland, a fanny is something very, very different!” She was a great sport about it though—and, you guessed it, she succeeded in that round too.
We thought we could trick Nina with nearly identical sunglasses—but boy, were we wrong. Nina used her fancy skills to study which pair “actually block the light out.” Like, okay, Nina...we get it! You’re a beautiful Scottish queen with a keen lavish eye that cannot be fooled!
After knocking out the $2 potato chips, calling out New York City’s tap water (which she low-key hated), and performing a mini crystal meditation, we were still able to stump Nina with something! She was so close, guys. SO CLOSE.
